Suspension for puppies and small breed dogs combines praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate, providing a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action against mature stages of roundworms and tapeworms that parasitize puppies and small dogs.
Indications: Prevention and treatment of nematode and cestode infestations in dogs and puppies.
Presentation: Oral suspension.
Packaging: Bottle – 20 ml, show-box – 10 bottles, pallet – 30 bottles.
Storage conditions, shelf life: Store in a dry place protected from light and direct sunlight, at temperatures between 0°C to +25°C. Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored in the original closed packaging.
Contraindications: Not recommended for use in debilitated or animals suffering from infectious diseases. Do not administer concurrently with anthelmintics containing piperazine.
Pharmacological properties: The active ingredients inhibit fumarate reductase, leading to depolarization of helminth muscle cells, disruption of energy metabolism, paralysis, and expulsion of parasites from the gastrointestinal tract. Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed in the intestines and excreted mainly in metabolized form via urine; pyrantel pamoate is partially absorbed and primarily excreted in feces within 24-48 hours.
Dosage and administration: For prophylactic and therapeutic deworming of nematodes, cestodes, and mixed infestations in puppies and small breed dogs, administer 1 ml per 1 kg of body weight as a single dose for prophylaxis and twice for treatment. Start administering from 2 weeks of age for puppies, and during the second half of pregnancy for bitches, under veterinary supervision.
For severe infestations, repeat treatment after 10 days. Prophylactic deworming should be conducted once every 3 months.
