Indications for use
Stop-Itch spray is applied to dogs and cats for the treatment of acute and chronic dermatitis (atopic dermatitis, eczema, diffuse neurodermatitis, scratches, alopecia, infected dermatitis, reactions to insect bites) and otitis of allergic or bacterial etiology.
Dosage and Administration
Holding the bottle vertically and pressing the spray head, aim the sprayer at the affected area from a distance of 10-15 cm.
For the treatment of dermatitis, apply Stop-Itch spray to the affected areas, spraying a thin layer twice a day after their preliminary sanitary treatment.
The course of treatment should not exceed 10 days.
For the treatment of otitis, clean the external auditory canal from scabs and crusts, then evenly moisten the inner surface of the ear shell by directing the sprayer into it.
After that, fold the ear shell in half and massage its base.
Treatment is carried out 2-3 times a day for 5-7 days.
The course of treatment can be extended at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
To prevent the animal from licking off the medication, a muzzle, collar, or loop made of ribbon should be placed on the animal, which should be removed 15-20 minutes after treatment.
Contraindications
Contraindications for use include individual intolerance to the components of the drug (including in the medical history), viral diseases, and diabetes.
