Description
Royal Canin Renal With Beef is a canned dietary food formulated for cats with chronic renal insufficiency.
Veterinary diets, including Royal Canin Renal With Beef, are designed for use under the supervision of a veterinarian. Royal Canin recommends consulting a veterinarian before starting or continuing the use of a veterinary diet.
Indications:
- Chronic renal insufficiency
- Treating recurrences of urolithiasis in cats with formation of calcium oxalate stones and impaired renal function
- Prevention of recurrences of urolithiasis with formation of urate and cystine stones by alkalizing urine
Contraindications:
- Pregnancy, lactation, growth
Duration of use:
- The minimum duration of dietary therapy is 6 months. After this period, a repeat comprehensive examination is required. If 3/4 of the kidney nephrons are damaged, the disease becomes irreversible, and dietary therapy is prescribed for the cat’s entire life.
Dietetic treatment for CRF:
