Description
Monge Vetsolution Gastrointestinal is a complete canned dietary food for cats, designed to reduce acute intestinal disorders and compensate for digestive issues. It contains nucleotides to support the immune system, highly digestible ingredients, horse chestnut to support intestinal function, xylooligosaccharides (XOS) prebiotics to stimulate the growth and development of beneficial bacteria, and provides an increased level of electrolytes. It is characterized by a low fat content. The Fit-aroma® formula in Monge Vetsolution Gastrointestinal cat food contains a natural extract of common horse chestnut, which has antispasmodic effects and astringent properties that slow intestinal peristalsis and improve the function of digestive enzymes. The beneficial effects of horse chestnut are due to its main component, escin. Escin heals damage to the intestinal mucosa and increases the biosynthesis of tight junction proteins, effectively suppressing acute inflammation and reducing damage to the intestinal mucosa.
